Message from JCI Secretary General Kevin Hin
17 Dec 2020 By President Ireland
Dear Members of JCI Ireland,
It is my pleasure to congratulate you on your 2021 Inauguration Ceremony, as you plan to begin the year on a high note!
JCI Ireland has had a tough year, notably due to the cancellation of the physical European Conference in Dublin which members had put their passion into for several years. However, as we prepare for next year, we remain thankful for your support of the JCI RISE Initiative and the online World Congress. It is through such actions that the rest of the members worldwide are able to see your commitment, which is shown both locally and internationally.
As JCI leaders, it is your responsibility to transform today's challenges into great opportunities in order to build a harmonious future and I look forward to seeing the new projects that you will create in line with the JCI RISE as we rebuild economies from the ruins of the pandemic and anchor JCI in economic reality towards One Future. I would like to encourage you to keep pushing for better initiatives and even more importantly, better connections with one another. As the past year has challenged us to participate less within society, it is exactly when we should push even harder. Let’s not forget it is through valuable connections that we can improve our societies, together.
Once more, I greet you on this new year of future projects and achievements! Take your time to reflect, celebrate and plan how to create sustainable change and develop enterprising young leaders for this ever-changing world.
I look forward to engaging with you at the 2021 JCI European Conference and in person when possible, hopefully in your country - the best is yet to come!
JCI Secretary General
